Richard L Zorek.........02.05.07...........ExpressJet has begun selling tickets for nonstop flights from KCI to Los Angeles, New orleans, Austin, Jacksonville, Tuscon and Raliegh. Since the planes do not stop, customers are parachuted in the proximity of each city...............Former President Bill Clinton will speak at Kansas State University next month as part of the "Landon Lecture Series." It is not known whether Clinton will speak on Landon's career as a Cartwright or living in the house on the prairie...........Missouri lawmakers have proposed a resolution to apologize for 140 years of slavery. The people that were alive at that time are long since dead, so it is not know exactly who the lawmekers will apologize to. Rep Talibdon El_Amin (D-St Louis) said he thought Missouri should be one of the first states to apologize and hopes others will soon follow. It is not clear why other states should apologize for Missouri's slavery. .................Gov Matt Blunt wants metal detectors and x-ray machines installed at the Capitol building in Jefferson City as part of an "enhanced security plan." The will also give him even more freedom to suggest any kind of laws he wants without fear of retribution............................
