As High as the Crow Flies

.......[c]2006 by Richard L Zorek......2.08.06.....Sheryl Crow, who performed at a concert honoring James Taylor, said the first time she saw him in concert she was 12 years old. "It was the first time I ever smelled pot, and I knew I wanted to be a musician," she said. Is that what they mean by the "sweet smell of success?"

I Read the News Today! Oh Boy...2.5.06

.......[c]2006 by Richard L Zorek......2.5.06.....
Notes I made as I read the Kansas City Star:....Grandpa Munster died (aka Al Lewis). He was 95. Carolyn Jones and Ed Gwynne have already gone on before him. I wonder if they have that same mansion now???.......Super Bowl Game today. For a few hours this evening, the United States will stop. I will watch the commercials which will be interrupted by the game. The Rolling Stones will perform at the half time show. At their age, if there is going to be a clothing malfunction, we will not think it distasteful as much as just really sick.......The plan to move some schools out of the Kansas City School District in Independence School District is coming closer to happening if Sen Victor Callahan gets his way. Independence doesn't seem to want the new schools or responsibility. The problem they have is that Mr Westbrook and Jim Hinson are the spokesmen and negotiators for Independence School District. I saw them work together on the MCI issue and, clearly, they have no concern for what people want: just how it benefits the district financially..........Walgreen's, along with a bunch of others, has their Valentines promotions. They have "his and her" boxers" on sale. Does giving someone underwear mean "I love you?"....
